A Thousand Forests

A beautiful lace pattern worked in the round in standard 4ply/fingering weight sock yarn. The stitch pattern is reminiscent of acorns and the pattern name is inspired by a quote by the American Poet, Ralph Waldo Emerson. “The creation of a thousand forests is in one acorn”

YARN: Homespun Wonders Yorkshire Dale Sock (100g; 437yds [400m]; 75% merino, 25% nylon) 4ply/fingering;
1[1,1,1] hanks, colour Ice Blue

SIZE: Small [Medium,Large,Extra Large]

To fit 7[8,9,10]“/ 18[20,23,25]cm foot circumference.
Finished dimensions = 6 1/4 [7 1/4,8,9]”/ 16[18.25,20.25,22.75]cm circumference.

Originally designed for A Good Yarn’s Sock Club 2018.
