Drift & Ebb Cowl

The Drift & Ebb cowl is worked in the round and the pattern is reminiscent of the surf hitting the shore. The pattern reverses at the centre, hence the name drifts in and ebbs out. Drift & Ebb is an ideal pattern to try stranded knitting for the first time as it can be worked on a full circular needle, so no needle joins need to be dealt with. Plus the floats are short enough not to need any weaving. The pattern repeats across the row too, so easy to memorise.
