Mackerel Skies Socks

The Mackerel Skies socks are a simple pair of socks. Mackerel skies are dappled with rows of small fleecy clouds, reminiscent of the scale pattern on a mackerel’s back. The perfect way to describe the texture of these socks. They are worked from the top down with a band heel and gusset and a simple knit and purl pattern that creates an interesting pillowed effect.
