New Pattern: Variegata

Introducing Variegata.

Variegata is a collaboration with Botanical Yarn and uses 12 x 20g fingering weight mini skeins to create a colourful and fun knit. The kits will be available to purchase from Botanical Yarn at 8pm BST Friday 1 October. These will be ready to ship, so if you are interested then set your alarm.

These are the gorgeous mini skeins from Botanical Yarn that I had to design with.

Variegata is a asymmetrical triangular shawl with simple mosaic knitting and lots of garter stitch; so a fun and relaxing knit.

I’ve produced Variegata in a new format too. As well as, the regular A4 printable copy. There will be a mobile version available too.

The mobile version has larger font and is in a ratio to fit most mobile phone screens. This means that you can just flip to the next page and every will be visible without moving about.

Within the pattern, there is a colour placement section that gives you tips on where to place your colours to get a similar effect to the sample. There is also a colouring page, so you can play around with options there.

However, saying all that, my hope is Variegata will work for any combination of colours. My testers made some truly stunning versions of Variegata and you can see for yourself that they all work beautifully.

There is an introductory discount code until midnight BST Tuesday 5 October. Just use VARIEGATA at checkout. This discount will work at both Ravelry and Payhip stores. For an exclusive subscriber discount for future patterns, sign up for the newsletter.
